Welcome to Raw. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Raw.
1. What Raw is
Raw is a community rating platform: users publish public reviews and ratings of movies, brands, games, books, apps and anything else worth an opinion. There is no editorial curation — opinions belong to the people who write them, not to Raw.
2. Your account
Sign-in is handled through our authentication service (Connections). You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country).
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the reviews and content you publish. By posting on Raw you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content as part of operating the platform. Reviews are public and associated with your handle.
4. What's not allowed
- Spam, fake reviews, undisclosed paid reviews, or coordinated manipulation of ratings.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that is illegal where you or we operate.
- Posting other people's private information.
- Scraping, automated bulk access, or attempts to break or overload the service.
- Impersonating other people or brands.
5. Moderation
Users can report reviews. Administrators may hide or remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations. We aim to be transparent, but we make no promise to arbitrate disagreements about opinions — an honest negative review is not a violation.
6. Third-party data
Metadata shown alongside items (posters, cast, artwork, descriptions) comes from third-party sources such as TMDB, RAWG, TVmaze, Jikan, iTunes, OpenLibrary and Wikimedia, and belongs to their respective owners. Raw is not endorsed or certified by these providers.
7. Disclaimers
Raw is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Reviews are user opinions — we don't verify them and are not liable for decisions made based on them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (for free accounts: zero).
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licence for already-distributed copies, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the Raw Journal and the date above updated. Continuing to use Raw after changes take effect means you accept them.
